Staff from Broadreach Recruitment recently visited Wadham School to help the year 10 business studies students gain a greater understanding of the world of work including an insight into working in the staffing industry and workshops on applying for work experience and interview tips.
The students really embraced the classes, and felt that real world examples were of great benefit - both for their course assessments and for helping gain work experience, and even getting their first part time job.
Head of Business Studies - Nicky Finch was really pleased, and grateful for the time we took to work with the students, and is keen to work with us again soon. The team at Broadreach were delighted with the feedback, and will definitely be working with the school again in the near future.
The owners of Broadreach started the business to make a difference – not only to the staffing industry, but more importantly, to the community that we live in. The work we do in the community with local charities and clubs is really important to us, and we feel the work we have done with Wadham School is vital, both for local employers such as Broadreach, but for the students who will be facing big decisions once their GCSE’s are complete.
To reinforce our partnership with Wadham, we are delighted to be hosting their students for work experience this year, and will be launching our apprenticeship and graduate programmes very soon!
