What Data is collected and how will we use it?

  • sending your CV to potential employers
  • to advise you of new developments, products and services from Broadreach Recruitment and any associated companies

We will only hold this information for as long as the purpose for which the data was collected continues. It is then either archived, deleted or destroyed unless its retention is required to satisfy audit, legal, regulatory or accounting requirements or to protect our interests. This Company will not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others unless you have given us your permission.

Health/disability data

This is gathered where appropriate under legitimate interest to ensure that you can be matched to job opportunities suitable for you AND under the condition where processing is necessary for carrying out our rights under UK employment law.

Criminal record data

This is gathered where appropriate under the condition that processing is necessary for fulfilling obligations under UK employment law, namely the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.  Certain categories of convictions (even if spent) prohibit employment in certain fields or job roles.

When you submit your CV to Broadreach Recruitment, it is stored on our recruitment database solely for the purposes of the recruitment process. We use our best efforts to ensure that your CV and personal information is not submitted to prospective employers until we have received consent from you. Some employers may be located inside and outside the European Economic Area.

Depending on the stage you are at in the job finding process, the Company may process your personal data and/or sensitive personal data with the following recipients:
